Architecture and Interior Design-Project Management

Ground Up project management

Tel Aviv urban renewal program is a part of national outline plan named “Tama 38” this plan purpose is to reinforce existing structures against earthquakes, but along the reinforcement cause comes many more challenges. Such as building additional floors to the existing buildings, digging under ground parking space, adding shelter safe rooms, balconies, elevators and many more while the building is still occupied with tenants.

The challenges we face while working on multiple projects such as this is extremely high, Structural engineer escorting this type of projects almost on a daily base depends on the issue since the buildings are 60 too 80 years old and many issues rise while progress starting the foundation and climbing up the flats.

During the year i worked with “Ecocity” as a planning of construction PM i had many structural challenges within each project, the complexity of each project in such an old occupied structures was very intense but rewarding in the other hand since i learned so much in a short time.

Weekly to daily onsite meetings with stakeholders, engineers, trade advisors and subcontractors were my routine, I had 3-4 projects mostly from ground in the most desirable areas in Tel Aviv.
